I hired a 3 or 4 year old P22 a while back from hamble marina. It was coded and I think I paid 220 for the first day.

I asked them how much it was if I took it for a week and they quoted 160 per day which sounded like an excellent deal.

If anybody is interested I will look out their details.

Boat was absolutely immaculate unlike most P22's ! and suited my cruising budget with diesel instead of petrol !

Although I think that this is quite a good deal, I have to wander how some companies can charge over 300 per day for a 20 k boat but you can hire a 50 k car for about 80 quid !

the hire car will be very well 'utiilised' though - the boat is probably only working 100 days a year if it is busy.
