A small rib rides, cuts water much better on chop than a sib, but that doesn't mean it will jump less than a sib, tubes do touch water so could bang against chop, tiny waves and produce a unconfortable jumpy ride....

dont plan on going out in anything too gnarly 1 metre total sea height max, usually no chop and all swell. i quite like the bouncing, better than jarring I use to get in my tin boat.
