QL trim tabs

Has anyone fitted these to a rib?

I quite like the idea, but can't quite see how you can fit them (cable through the hull) when the hull is solid at that point on the transom.

Packing block on the transom with the cable running down into it and turning 90 degrees, on the outside face of the transom

Or

Would the hole for the cable be in the void between deck and hull

Or

Set of smart tabs

It's not the thickness of the hull,it's access,I'm not going to dig a hole in whats obviously a water tight structure,I'd balls it up and my very heavy engine would pull the transom off..

A neat method of hiding the cable externally looks the best bet.
