Pubs in Putney/Chiswick

Are there any pubs in Putney/Chiswick that we can just moor up to and stop for lunch that anyone can recommend?

There's Pissaro at Chiswick Pier. It's not cheap but looks good and the pier has good visitor moorings (which are rare on this part of the river).

Another possibility is Dove Pier at Hammersmith and eat at the Dove pub. It's been a few years since I was last there, so you'd need to check first.

There's a pier at Putney, but I don't know whether there's any visitor mooring.

Cool, thanks for the suggestions...unfortunately due to to the delights of public transport we couldn't get to Kew in time to get out before LW, so we just had a quick runabout down to Chiswick and back without mooring up. Unfortunately it seems we're still leaking fuel though :-( Hopefully that will be sorted this weekend though....

I have used Kew Marina with no probs. Their pontoon is in poor condition, but he is very cooperative, and we used it a couple of times, but on our risk. He was hoping to refurbish the pontoon soon.

Brentford Marina is a little further up on the right. £20 but HW +/- 2½ hrs.

Just downstream of Putney bridge there is a whole complex of bars and restaurants on the river and depending on the state of the tide should be able to moor up on the river bank wall - there' even a slip at the end of Brewhouse Street.
Best bet is to ask Chas Newens Marine - just up from the pier.
