Slight bias...

... as I have a 7.5 on order with a 250. The size of engine was determined by the loading it is intended to haul.
With a 200 it will still be an impressive rig and if being used for leisure will be a fast and stable setup.
What seating capacity and what engine manufacturer are you thinking of for the 200?

Don't know about Prosports but we have a 7.5m Scorpion with a 200hp Yamaha HPDI and it seems to be a good combination. Top speed so far with 4 adults on board has been 46 knots (but that burns over a litre of fuel per mile ). We cruise comfortably in light to moderate conditions at 35 knots . A bit more oomph would be nice though (says other half!).

Louise that is FANTASTIC consumption. I wish I had the same on mine.

My VMax burns 1-1.3 ltrs/mile at cruising and 2-2.3 ltrs/mile at WOT

Going back to the question I think that a 200 will not be a problem for that hull and it will look cool too

Ian: whats the price difference between the 200 & 250?

Suzuki 200/250 price difference

Difference is £1750 in purchase price direct from Pro Sport.
Suzuki are delivering the first container this month and have more engines than orders on it, I hear. Therefore if you place an order soon, this difference may be reduced if you can get a deal through Jason.

Worth asking!

Has anyone on RIBnet placed an order for a Pro Sport 7.5 c/w Suzi 200?
If so, when is delivery of the complete package?
