Well, cleaning started tonight, the tubes are pretty dirty, I'm not making much of an impression on them. Tried TFR and Fairy Power Spray, I'd be as well using tap water. Need a new plan.

The deck and transom came up pretty good though.

Did you use the tfr neat or diluted ? Try a 50:50 mix & leave it on overnight. You want a humid night with a dew to stop it drying. Failing that, try wetting some old towels in the solution & leaving them on the tubes like a poultice (good word that&#128516

The one on the left looks a good rib👍😃😇. Take it he hasn't picked it up yet. With regards the tubes why not give Paul Tilley a PM I've always found him very helpful.

What did you use on the deck/Transom to get the colour back?

It was diluted Dave, 25% solution, tbh I only left it on five mins before attacking it with a "greenie", airing on the side of caution. It's super duper concentrate.

It went away an hour ago, it's only going 20mins along the road just outside Arisaig, he also has a slipway he said I can use any time I want. Result!

Il drop Paul a PM

TFR solution, it'll likely fade a little when it dries.

I believe that the RIB industry clean the worst tubes with solvent - taking care to keep it out of glued seams, obviously...
