Problems with Revenger 34?

We are a charter-company, and have bought a 29Žer and a 36Žer during the last 14 months. We just ordered another 29Žer and are looking for another big boat around 34 with twin 300 Yanmar.
The Revenger 34 seems like a good boat with the world record around England.
The boat will be used for extreem ribbing, jumping on waves at full speed all day!
Is there anything we should know about this boat before we order?

Actually you can't go around England!!!! You can go around the Britain though!!!

Welsh and Scottish people get rather upset about that!!!

From what I have heard very good boats but possibly the nose is a bit pointy???

Thats an incisive technical evaluation my fishy friend!

If what you mean is that the bow tubes are very tapered and there is no sheer so the bow is low and sharp which would raise questions about stuffability, then I would agree with you! Revengers have well proven hulls though. Whether they would stand up to the kind of use the Fjordrafting puts his boats too I couldn't say. It does seem however that few RIBS can!

Yup that's it - getting lazy!!!

Of course stuffing can't be that much of a problem if you run the right trim - after all around Britain is not usually know for it's calm weather!!!

I would say that a Revnger 34 should be able to stand up to watever you hammer at it. We have got a 29 with the yanmar inboard and the engines can take a good hammering as well. It aint hard to repair them if they do go rong as they are the same engines as the toyota land cruiser.

Apart from the breaking engine mounts/castings and Bravo drive failures you're probably right
