Powerboat level 2, Griffin marine.

I spent Wednesday and Thursday of this week completing my level 2 powerboat course with Tim Griffin, Griffin Marine Services. Take a look in the 'special offer' section for details.

I would just like to take this oppurtunity to thank him for such an interesting and fulfilling couple of days. I learnt a great deal in the short time and both he and his boat, Solentis, inspired great confidence in myself and my mate who did the course with me. I can thoroughly recommend both the course and the services of Tim and his vessel. If you haven't done it ,which I'm sure most of you have, it is well worth the time and effort. Tim even picked us up from 'England' as he liked to refer to the mainland and returned us there on both evenings for a small fee, worth it for the boat trip alone! We also had some, quote: "interesting weather" , which only enhanced what we had been taught.

Anyway, thanks Tim, rest assured I will be back in the near future.

Regards

Thanks Ben

We had a great couple of day's you and Gary were excellent throughout the course, where else can you get such great sea conditions on passage to England, head seas , beam seas , quartering seas and following seas. Oh and I asked in the Marina office today how wide is it between the pontoons 8.5 metres not 10 . It was great to meet you and Gary and I hope the course has inspired you to go on and take further qualifications you have the makings of an excellent boat handler.
Remember a boat is like a woman you have to listen to her.
Take care mate

I have recently done my VHF course with Tim, and a excellent course it was too. Very thorough, nice guy, good fun and I got 100% score...thats got to show something about his teaching!

I will definately be doing further courses with him in the future.
