Having been out today (7/3/10) and got some very good photo's (thanks guys), I thought like Biff, I ought to come out!

Having bought Andre's fab boat, I am taking the plunge and starting a new business. We will be starting in April/May running 90 min tours of the Jurassic Coast from Poole Quay. Whilst a put a crude website together, a new all singing and dancing site should be up in next few days, have a look at;-

I would like to thank all those members on here who have been so supportive and helpful. Now all I need is a good summer and lots of bookings .....

Very impressive 250. I won't tease you about the mungo all-round navigation light you have on your A-frame (that being too obvious and all). I will however ask how you managed to get Clarkson to drive for you? Is he reasonable?

I'm sure you will, but please can you keep away from other boats that you can see are fishing. Sorry to moan but another outfit in that area seem to make a beeline for small boats and charge past at a ridiculous rate for no other reason than to demonstrate how fast they are?

What coding did you go for? Can you do high-speed lunch excursions to Alderney?

Went for Cat3 limited. Would love to do Alderney, everything is possible at the right price ....

The ribs for sure looks the part and I just love them all weather suits you got. The suits go well with the goggles

There is no question here - you have for sure got the best seasafari rib in UK. Best of luck with your venture
I also am confused with WILLKS comment about the top light - perhaps he took the scanner for the top light. and just in case somebody comes up with a comment that the scanner is low and will cook your brains, the radar is a broadband radar so emits less the 1/10 of what is emitted by a mobile telephone

Can't see a problem with the all round white as long as its a metre above the side lights.

You fell into the trap of thinking that nav lights are as open to comedic interpretation as vhf antenae! I think they are regarded with the same obsessive passions as anchors and auxilliary engines.

I realise that this runs the risk of a flame war but I reckon we've got some of the best coastline going - So its great to see someone starting up a business to introduce it to others. Good luck with the venture mate

But no one was paying, it was family and friends out to see what it was all about and to get some pictures. The 130ltr of fuel came out of my pocket ...

Sorry, having re-read it, I think your right.

As for fuel, I will be buying at cost, so should hurt a little less and everything used commercially will have the tax reclaimed, which is what makes a business like this viable.
