Poole Fireworks

Hi - Just a quick question to help our Scouts gain new experiences.

Is there a good place to anchor or a buoy that can be used to to tie up to in ia rib ( or 4 ) to view the Poole fireworks that are run each Thursday night during summer ?

Many thanks

I don't think so, It gets quite busy on the water most firework evenings. If you don't want to bob with the rest of the boats I'd think about anchoring just off the Wych Channel near Brownsea Island, this would keep you away from most of the boats that are trolling around but still close enough to watch the event over the water. I guess you could perhaps pick up an empty mooring around there for a short while. Alternatively you could maybe moor in Poole Quay Marina perhaps.
