POLY bottle with SS holders for an "A Frame"

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of poly bottles with a tidy SS basket suitable for mounting on a A frame?

Hi you could try xs ribs (if you dont mind xs engraved on the side )
try here
www.xs-ribs.co.uk/info.php

We had them supplied new with the boat but cant think why they wouldn't sell them on their own. Look and feel god quality but early days to back it up.

Im sure many other manufacturers do them and no doubt someone will be along soon with other sujestions.
Hope this helps.

Hi K&S. I too am after the cages to suit the pains wessex polybottles pictured below. I have been looking for some time but without sucess. I looked on the Humber website but their price list details a set of cages plus polybottles for £225!!!

If anyone can point myself and 'two stroke mike' in the right direction that would be most appreciated.

The price on the XS site is £220 for bottles and cages / holders.
might be worth giving them a ring as i guess this is a 'fitted price' could be wrong.

There was a guy / girl on ebay listing just the bottles on ebay before xmas for 7.50 each if i remember right, as allready mentioned might be worth a search and the get a fabricator to make them for you.

Just spoke to XS Ribs, they also wanted £220 for a pair of cages and bottles..... ouch!

Anyone else able to offer alternative suppliers (assuming that ashbypower are not able to help)?

Just a thought why not mould a set of holders from fiberglass yourself? reinforsce with say wire mesh from B&Q.

Have a read of this (link) and ask the guy if he'll make you some. I haven't used him myself but they seem quite happy with the stainless gear he's making.

pains wessex box holders

Hi
I called in on Ribshop at swanwick during the week.
They had a pains wessex type box in the sales rack- so I said thats great but there are no holders available.
I was told they will have them shortly - sample/mark1 version away for build at present, I was told.

so give them a ring - the more they produce, in the first batch, the cheaper they will be for all of us.

Closer to home, there's a workshop making these holders (and A-frames) in Cushendall, Antrim. They're just across the road from Redbay Boats and make their s-steel fittings. Redbay sell the polybottles (bit pricey).

.... And to save the lads in the Kingdom a post, I'm sure Gaelforce Ribs do exactly the same thing too, only better......
