It says they conform to BSEN 1836:1997

The Eyecare Trust: "Always look for British Standard BSEN 1836:1997. This British Standard sets performance levels for quality, strength, stability, design and manufacture as well as the amount of UV they let through."

I remember them doing a test on a variety of sunglasses and the safest of all were ones sold by McDonalds for 99p a few years ago. I had a pair and they were brilliant!!!

I've still got a pair and they're the luckies pair of sunglasses I've ever owned, I've sat on em and they got washed off my head when I stuffed a wave, left em on top of the car and driven down the road, dropped them....Unbelivable when I think about it! I'll be gutted when I do lose or damage them.
