Hey Manos, glad to see that you like Cookee's Banana Shark, it's one of the boats that will spank your ars* when you have a go at F2!

Curious to note that the 'Bananashark' is a Ribeye - I hope she doesn't suffer from the alleged GRP lay-up problems hinted at on another thread!!!

benjamin - The BananaShark is indeed sponsored by Ribeye, but they are not in the raceboat business. We (BananaShark) build the race boats in South Devon using all of the latest techniques! The hull is capable of withstanding fantastic speeds in very rough conditions - just ask any of the RIB racers!

We are very proud of a hull that in only it's 4th race won a round of the European Champs (in a force 6 - 7!) and then was winning the second by a large margin when a rectifier let us down!)

As far as F2 goes - we intend to enter both F2 and class III this season, and the ORC have a meeting today during which I hope they will give approval for me to race in both classes - at the same time! We'll have to see if we spank ars* or not, but if I were a betting man .....................
