Bassin Vaubin

St Malo

Maybe for your young legs! It's almost a mile and a half to the walled town, bit of a stretch after a few glasses of rouge.

It's actually nothing to be scared of, I've been through a few times, the lock is pretty huge so room for plenty of boats, the sides are clean and there's very little turbulence. Lock opening times can be found here. The marina in Bassin Vaubin is popular and can get busy but a small rib can normally be squeezed in somewhere. Marina office at the top of the ramp for advice and payment.
