Marina only has diesel. Why not phone 01880 820344 to find out. I know the last petrol station in the village closed last year. You'll get it across the loch at Portavadie give them a call to be sure it's a nice place to stop.

Dont get too excited.....the days of the 40lb cod in the Clyde are long gone. We pick up lots of small stuff and the occasional 3-4 lb codling and Ling.we use the structure scan sonar to find the spots. Not kidding but some marks are hopeless if you are 2 metres off.Even then there are no guarantees!!

Hope to be through the Kyles early monday afternoon, heading to Rothesay. Parking up for the night and cycling around Bute. Stay at Kingarth.

Shame will be back at the day job in central Scotland by then. No doubt you will have the Go pro on to record the sunshine, blue skies and dolphin frolics.....maybe next time
