Petrol at Tarbert

Hi thinking of going for a sail round to Tarbert tomorrow does anyone know if you can get petrol in Tarbert on a Sunday.

Marina only has diesel. Why not phone 01880 820344 to find out. I know the last petrol station in the village closed last year. You'll get it across the loch at Portavadie give them a call to be sure it's a nice place to stop.

will do where abouts you fishing been round kyles fishing before in my shetland 570 never had any luck,a few good looking spots though

Dont get too excited.....the days of the 40lb cod in the Clyde are long gone. We pick up lots of small stuff and the occasional 3-4 lb codling and Ling.we use the structure scan sonar to find the spots.Not kidding but some marks are hopeless if you are 2 metres off.Even then there are no guarantees!!

Know what you mean been fishing clyde and lochs for years and only found 2 marks where we catch decent fish if your right on top of them

Shame will be back at the day job in central Scotland by then. No doubt you will have the Go pro on to record the sunshine, blue skies and dolphin frolics.....maybe next time

You visiting my home town again. Staying in Kingarth Hotel. Good used to be good. Have a nice stay on the island and take plenty of photos fore.
