Anchor off of Anneka's (Rice) jetty for nothing, it's very sheltered in the sound. Or, if it looks dodgy, pick up a mooring for £10pn. Jim and I share a bouy and split the cost.

Last time I was there (a couple of years) it was about £15 for a launch & recovery and maybe a fiver per day car parking. It's only divers a the occasional walker who use it so I'd be happy to leave the car there for a week.

Launch/recover is FOC. Parking (up the valley) is a Fiver a day, I think. Not sure about truck and trailer, I may get 'locals' rates.

I met a group over there recently who didnt have a great experience at the Garrison. Only bonus of the garrison is the price I suppose. I'd love to go over in my RIB one day so will follow the post with interest.

Just out of interest, has anyone done this in a Thundercat?

Would be ideal to do it with a few people with RIBs to carry a little kit.

I dont mind carrying your small amount of kit but worth checking with our Guru Mollers first to see if it can be done?

You may be the first. Come along.

I wonder what excuse the Komandant of Stalag Kernow will be using this time? "I'd love to come, but as it's the second week in the month, I'll be changing engines."

We've been chatting about the Scillies for a couple of years and hoping to get there this summer.

Can probably do any dates that suit others but as its a nigh on 400nm round trip from here I'll be looking for good settled weather!

I did think about you Matt, but thought that you'd hop in if you were at all interested. It would be great if you, or any other of the CI guys could make it.

16-17 July look perfect for us too

ITR *should* be in Southampton well before then. How long would Southampton -Falmouth take roughly?

And it means we could link up going home with Matt potentially!
