Parking at Putney Launching Place

Anybody know the place on the Thames near Putney Bridge where the all the rowing clubs are that you can launch your RIB?

I went there ages ago on a Sunday and the parking was free. Anyone know if you have to pay on a Saturday?

It's not that I mind paying but can you buy a ticket that will last all day?

Bit of a faff if you have to come back every two hours to feed the meter!

Its not the meters that are the problems its the residents bays!

If you park right up at the western end there are some spots you can use.

Check out the Wandsworth website here http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/Home/En.../parputney.htm

We parked on Saturday no problems

Parking is free on a saturday and during the week after 9.30am (i think).

Park at the far end away from Putney bridge as the road is liable to flooding and that end of the road is higher than outside the rowing clubs.
