What sort of boat is that then?

And what is that alien spaceship doing perched on the horizon watching you?

It is a Yamarin 590HT with 115 Yamaha 4st on the back, we've had 37 knots so far out of it which isn't too bad going. He bought it this year at the SBS. He is very pleased with it, handles ok, not too slappy ride either. It also has a Canvas Cuddy for the back so if you wanted to you could sleep 4 on it as there is a double in the bow and double across the back. Surprisingly roomy for a 6m boat. They are made in Finland, the finish () is superb.

Its actually one of the forts standing at the East End of The Solent, built during the Napoleonic war ( I think). There are 3 or 4 of them and they are used for a variety of differant uses, quite amazing things to see up close.

auto pilot

Have been asked to try out the Raymarine Auto Pilot for the Verado's, had it installed prior to xmas and have to say it is really good, bit strange having the Rib in theory drive itself, but once a destination is input into the GPS push of the button and the rib drives itself at the speed (manually set) by myself.
