Has anyone got any experience with hypalon paint and painting badly faded tubes

Yes, and I would steer clear unless it's already a total mess. Can you post a photo of how they look at the moment? You might find a decent clean followed by an application of a decent hypalon protector/polish brings some of the original colour back:

Hi
I'm currently repainting my hypalon tubes, the previous owner painted them without first prepping so the paint is literally just peeling off
I'm using acetone to get off the old paint, then keying with sand paper before degreasing and painting with hypalon paint. Fairly straightforward just very time consuming
