packing creases in tubes

ive had my rib from may now and when i got it had loads of packing marks
suppose its sent with the tubes folded up next to the hull

they said they would come out with time and sun

most have come out but some have stayed about four are very deep
and have marked the top layer of pvc and look like a rip in just the top layer what do you think i should do

Hi Daniel

If it is what I think it is, I had the same on 3 of mine. Creases gone within a month blowing the boats up.
But ask someone who can see it localy to be sure.
Good luck

i don,t think they will disapear as the top layer as lots of little cuts were it was folded

rogue wave

do you think its that bad to require replacement

next question some one must know about tubes when a crease mark as damaged the top surface will it require total replacement or can it be fixed

hi Daniel

It's not my opinion that matters here it's yours. You are obviouly unhappy with the marks and are asking what can you do to get rid of them.

my view is that if it's a new boat then it's the dealers problem and not yours. the easiest way to make them pay attention is to start mumling about a lack of merchantable quality and see if they take an interest
