Pacifics

Hi guys - went down to Jupiter point to have a play with the Navy last week for an article for Sportsboat and RIB magazine, I spent quite a bit of the day in a landing craft and Pacific 22 and 24's -

Is that because of the Official Secrets Act?

Yes I do actually - all over the place! Some were there for refresher courses and some were new - They still have Seariders and all sorts of inflatable stuff as well. If you drive a boat in the Navy from anything up to Pacific 24 you have to do this course and do refreshers at regular intervals. It leads up to what they were doing on this day which is "Pacing" - if you want to know more you'll have to read the magazine!
