Chubby, you're certainly getting on quickly. What have you used for your longitudinals, it's not clear from your picture. Have you scarfed them into the originals or butt jointed them?

its polyurethane sheet same as origanally used , with a wooden capping butted up to original, its only really a former for the grp, the grp overlaps back onto the remaining stringers

Aha, now I see. It looked on your original photo as though it was solid wood but I can see the foam ends now that you mention it. I was puzzled by the capping strips too but now it's clear. Ta.

You will be sooner in the water than I am!! I'm still thinking about the engines. I have to build a new console in the back, wrap around if possible. One tank out, smaller tank back... Two lockers in front, one locker astern, radar, fishfinder etc

Pff, glad when it's afloat!!

I've been saying that for a while now! I think you've got a lot of very long nights ahead of you to get that done in 3-4 weeks!

Very nice console you've got there!!. From what make is it? Just like I'm searching for. We've taken the deck of now and are making de engine beds ready. Engine will be a 6ly3a 380 or 440hp, coupled to Konrad sterndrive.

Good luck
