Yup, we made it all of half a mile before it broke down. Looked at this boat 3 years ago in Lymington, there was probably 400 gallons of water in the hull from rain and no drain plug to get it out
. Water level was over the top of the alternator which had then siezed. Astonishingly it still started. Smoked a bit were the belts slipped on the siezed alternator. I walked away laughing when James Warlock said said £10,000. Nice job of fitting the jet unit, pity they couldn't be bothered to sand the filler down around the unit.
