Yup, we made it all of half a mile before it broke down. Looked at this boat 3 years ago in Lymington, there was probably 400 gallons of water in the hull from rain and no drain plug to get it out . Water level was over the top of the alternator which had then siezed. Astonishingly it still started. Smoked a bit were the belts slipped on the siezed alternator. I walked away laughing when James Warlock said said £10,000. Nice job of fitting the jet unit, pity they couldn't be bothered to sand the filler down around the unit.

The newer p22 use yanmar engines with hamalton jet drives

Newer!! If this one were any older it would be running twin Hamilton paddle-wheels!!! What a nail!! By the reinforcement on the side I think that it was previously a trawler. As for Extreme Marine, what other delights do they have on offer? The Mary Rose, needs slight attention, otherwise ready to go. A classic with history, £Offers.

So are Extreme Marine selling the Mary Rose then? Will that have a jet drive fitted too??
