Pacific 22 tubes

Help needed, the tubes on my Pacific 22 are pulling away from the deck in the bow section, any ideas on an easy fix.

If it is a P22Mk1 or even a Mk11 the tubes will have a clamping plate around the flange at the bow which clamps the fabric bolt rope flap to the hull. The clamping bar may have worked loose and allowed the tube to lift pulling the bolt rope flap through between the flange and the clamping bar, which if it has, means that the fabric will have probably ripped where the bolts are. The other possibility is that the bolt rope flap has delaminated from the actual tubes. In either case I think it will require removal of the tubes to carry out a satisfactory repair

Following images show a P22 having new bow bolt rope fitted.

One for sale here - plenty pictures to illustrate how it's fixed in position. http://www.findafishingboat.com/detail.php?aid=25993

Orange pacific on findafishingboat

Hi, the boat you mention with the new aluminium tube rails, is now mine.
Just bought her this weekend 29/08/10, cant wait to try her out when she gets delivered up here to the West Highlands.

The mk2 tubes look great, as does the new deck and paint job. Engine bay needs a little clean out and some electrical work, bottle rack to fit and maybe a fuel gauge??.

Will keep you posted as things progress..
