If the engine is good then it's ok for a project. But by the time that it's re-tubed and fully sorted (A frame and console etc.) it's going to owe the same as a good 'ready to go' rib. What is that leg? A Yam perhaps? It's not a Merc or a Volvo Penta.

Alice, its a cheap way into a diesel rib and if someone is willing to put the time in costs can be kept quite low.

Hey, thats my boat.!!!

Thanks for the link Tim! I have lowered the reserve to 5K and going to chuck in 1.5 ltrs of grey international deck paint, 2.5 ltrs of blakes hard racing Antifoul,3 spare props in need of overhaul, 60 ltrs of diesel in plastic cans. Lot's of new engine hoses, clips, injector pipes. The batteries may have died but not had time to check them. Need to sell by Monday night or most likely will move it down to where I am working and get some use out of it. My house is up for sales as well.
Buy that & get a free rib!
