Hi Jezza.

My place overlooks the Camber slipway, it's pretty quiet during the week and there is plenty of parking for cars and trailers in the car park/trailer park nearby.

The slipway hasn't been jetwashed further down in a while so it is quite slippery underfoot LWS...so time your launch/recovery well if you haven't got 4WD or a long rope.

There's also a fishing boat careened on it at the moment but you shouldn't have any trouble getting past.

Hope this helps.

Robin

Thanks Robin.
Launched there a few time but not in the school hols . :-)
Not got a 4x4 but the mondeo does well as long as the wheels are on the concrete :-)
Will be throwing it in on my own with the help of the little lad (6) to hold the ropes while it park it all up
Sould be fun and thanks for the info

No worries.

This was about two weeks ago LWS...turn up the volume and watch the front wheels, be glad it's not your van. In vid 2..check out the 'uphill skating' towards the end.

Bottom line...they got it out! and I'm a sad muppet for videoing it. :0)

Oh Man thats slippy !!!!

May have to employ the old long rope trick or. use the winch to get it up the slipway.

Look out for a black 61 mondeo and a black and orange ribtec sliding down the slipway.
lol
