Would a Tohatzu 9.8 be a good first time outboard for a Honwave T38 IE2 inflatable?

Or i have the chance of a 25 HP Short Shaft Suzuki DT25 2-stroke Outboard Motor Engine

Something inbetween would be best maybe - the 15hp 2 stroke Yam or Tohatsu is perhaps the ideal match, not sure of the max rating (if it takes the 25 then it will be very lively)!

The specs for this boat say up to 25hp outboard so was gonna with this.

We have a nice Tohatsu 25 which has just arrived. Very clean. Short shaft tiller control. PM if interested.

Its a great engine so I would try it first as I think you will be v happy. If you feel you need more speed you can always upgrade to more HP after trying you tohatsu
