Out of production Ribs

If the price was right, would I be making a mistake to buy a make of rib that is now out of production such as an Atlantis?

Cant' see why it would matter. It's not like buying a car where you might need a regular supply of spare parts to keep it going. I'd aim for an engine that's still around for that very reason.

As above - I woudl say the boat doesn't matter, but the fan on the back is a different matter.

Wouldn't think anything else matters apart from the engine - if electronics go pop you usually chuck it away and fit a new one.
