I've been told the Sparrowhawk is a far better boat than a 5.4.

I do like the look of the sparrowhawk, red tubes and not grey and they have the hard nose as well, are they hyplon tubes like the searider?, also the sparrowhawk has a 60hp 2 stroke on it, would that be ok for 4 people?

The Sparrowhawk is good for a 90hp max. Would have thought it would be fine with four people on although a 90hp would be more fun.
Tubes are Hypalon and made by Eurocraft.

i have the eagle slightly bigger than the sparrow, also supposedly 18 years old
being out in a force 6 the other day huge swell I have never felt safer on any other boat i have owned as i do this one,
the lad out with me was in a 6mtr destroyer and had to keep backing off, part of it down to experince perhaps. but some of his crew transferd to my boat half way through the journey, (scared me finks ) and expressed how differnt the ride was

A bare stainless wheel won't be easy to hold onto when wet and the throttle looks badly placed.

New wheel wouldn't be much. I'd leave the throttle where it is but tilt it back so you don't have to lean forward to give it WOT.
