Osprey ribs uk

As many of you may be aware Roy Bishop has been taken ill and is unable to work at present. Roy's the man who liked the product so much that he 'bought' the company (or at least took on the distributorship)and there is no greater enthusiast! Without Roy at the helm it is impossible for us to continue running Osprey and we have therefore relinquished the distributorship. On a brighter note, Mike Whitham (who makes the hulls) has appointed Liverpool Power Boats as the new distributors and their Sales Director, Ged Mortimore, will be handling all enquiries. We wish them well.

Best wishes to Roy and his family, he has worked tirelessley over the last few years to re-establish the Osprey brand as a quality "British Rib" I found Roy to be easy to deal with and extremely helpful when speccing Time Bandit. He has also become a good friend and I am looking forward to future Osprey boating exploits with him in the years to come.

Thanks Roy

That was news to me, so all the best to Roy. I'm pleased to hear that the Osprey brand will remain in the UK and that Mike will be continuing to make the hulls. Best of luck to the new dealership and lets hope they continue to turn out an excellent product with the same superb customer service and satisfaction that we have all experienced.

All the very best to Roy, he's a super bloke and a pleasure to do business with.

The new arrangement dovetails perfectly for me, LPB supplied and fitted the Etec on our Osprey. Ian and Jane (LPB proprietors) are a great pair and also a pleasure to deal with.

Best of luck to GED,you have a great poduct.

Really sorry to hear this, Roy always dealt honestly with me, and I wish him well. I hope things improve for him.
Glad to hear that Mike is continuing manufacture, the quality of your mouldings has been appreciated by many.
Good luck to the new distributors, I hope that the business flourishes under your control.

First let me say, I hope Roy a speedy recovery and he is out boating with us soon.
Also to those people who emailed/phoned myself and Ian (LPB) wishing us good luck over the last few days.....

I'd like to Echo the kind words that others on here have spoken of. I wish Roy a speedy recovery from his illness and my thoughts are with you and your family members.

I had the pleasure of GED helming a demo Aircraft a few years ago at RIBex. I wish him all the best with his new appointment with his association with Osprey RIBs.

Here's to Roy being fighting fit for the next N Wales Ribnet cruise. He knew the Ospreys inside and out, did a great job on my boat and always had time for his customers, even if they had questions / wanted favours years after their purchase!

We all know Ged will do a great job. He's just got to get himself a proper demo boat.....

Very sorry to hear of Roy's illness and wish him a speedy recovery. He certainly treated us very well when we bought our Vipermax.
