Ok, I'll have a look at it. It might need to include top speed and revs and fuel consumption to make it more accurate for other to compare to though?

Yup I know. On my to do list. I'm not that sure how to do it though :/ short of just having a link to a PDF with a selection of photos grouped due to one picture, I'm not sure how to do it exactly. I can only have five separate photogallery thingys, so I'm not sure how to split it. Maybe I create some photos of text to act as dividers and I split them all up like that?

Ok, two votes for props. And another to split the gallery.

If I'm doing any free advertising then it's for Osprey Ribs, since the OOA is of course non-profit. And Osprey Ribs is a trade member. So that's all good

Ah, the old how to archive data in an easy to use system with limited resources problem.

Can you just link through to a photo album site? Then add links back from the site for specific relevant photos.

Ok, further to my hint about merchandise....

...here it is!

Laser engraved plaques!! Below is a prototype which I've knocked up in 30mins this afternoon, it's by no means perfect and it's very basic!! The idea is that you can have anything you want on it, many people have a plaque with call sign, MMSI and boat name affixed to their console. I can do that and have this logo in the corner, with the site address. I will speak to Kris about using the logo, but I'm sure he will be ok. I will develop the integration of osprey-owners.co.uk and Osprey Owners Association into the design over the next few days, and on Saturday I will engrave a red one with MMSI, call sign and boat name and logo for Into the Red. Other things to do include neatening up the lines, and that's not hard to do so I'll do that tomorrow, and also reversing the image so that it comes out on the better side. Another possibility is 3 dimensional engraving into slightly thicker material, but we'll have to see about that one. Price should be very cheap, (<£8 but don't quote me), and for that you get a highly personalised plaque either in very large for the wall, or to put on the boat. Any colour any design etc.

Massive thanks to Jeff Walker (JW/Jwalker) who has drawn the logo (still under wraps ) of which this is a derivation.

Any interest at all......?

That sounds like a fun toy to be playing with in Design and Tech. What does it work off? CAD files. Glad to see your parent's school fees are going to something worthwhile Doesn't even look like you've opened your Geography book.

Yes. I vectored the drawing then printed it on the scanner. All of 30 mins. Would be less if hadn't needed the teacher to check something

Number plates for Ospreys

Heads up!

Just done a quick search on the DVLA website for private number plates and found several available that might be useful to someone.

R18OOA

R18OVP

R18VPR

Oh and the good news is that they're only £255 inc transfers.

I'm liking: XO 59REY with a bit of sneaky doctoring: X O59REY. V O59REY also available, but no Vmax or anything for obvious reasons

You could put it on retention for a couple of years till you're old enough to drive a car

Anyway... I doubt I'll bother 'till summer if October/November last year was anything to go by learning will be terrible at that time. Who's going to fund it anyway, I don't want a job!

Remember I don't actually live up here in inbred county

then he can discover that the police are tightening up on wrongly spaced plates (because ANPR doesn't like it) and pick up his first 3 points!
