Ok site now updated with a few things. Few more things to come eg. prop and revs in the Owner's boat section. I will try to keep the latest news section up to date regularly, and all those who wanted plaques, the idea has been put a little on the back burner, but I have a final price for them - 70p + postage which will just be a letter assuming your design is small. I hope to be able to work on these over the coming term once my main project is finished.

Oh and when I get round to it I will try and tackle the splurge that is the photo gallery.

Interestingly I now have nearly as many referrals from ospreyribs.co.uk as from here. cheers Roy!

IMHO what the gallery needs is a link from each boat on the owners page so you can have a look at all the photos of that boat.

Agreed, however that is possibly a little beyond the capability of the tools I have to work with unfortunately. I think the best compromise will be to make "divider photos" of text to split up the gallery and stop it just being the splurge that it is. I can only have five of those separate gallery things so can't have one per boat. Oh and there's a limit to the number of pages I can have so not one page per boat either. Oh well! In the future I will heed Jimbo's advice and use one of the programs he recommended to redo it. But I don't have time at the moment.

70p covers the materials for a plaque of the size in the pictures on this thread. I'm willing to give my time for free since its really just a bit of fun for me. An A1 sheet of 3mm acrylic is <£9 so that 70p includes a bit of profit/pay for my time. I will make up a mayday and a MKIII plaque next term once I have finished my real project.

Good idea that actually. £2 cost + postage. £1.30 of that to GAFIRS? Hadn't thought of that.

Can you just link through to a photo album site? Then add links back from the site for specific relevant photos.
Sorted it methinks!
  • Photo gallery now sorted with "photo dividers" - there are photos of text that split up the gallery
  • Copied and uploaded nugent's Oscar build thread
  • Copied and uploaded rickuk's Seaharrier build thread
  • Added props and revs to the database - please could those already on it email me the additions.

Busy night!
