Mike didn't do this until 1992. Tubes are the lobster design with the seems running around the tubes rather than the later (1992) along the tubes, one hidden under the rubbing strake and one visible on the inside like Chris's.

However the tubes are in good condition for that age so I wonder if the tubes have been replaced during its life.

You should open up the nose cone with a henderson water proof hatch on the verical surface that faces into the boat for storage. It jsut fits. Once done then with a mirror and torch check the ends of the tubes in the nose cone for the date of manufacture of the tubes, by Eurocraft.

If the A frame is the original one and it looks like it is then stick the 140 on it and enjoy. Tippy boats btw compared to more modern designs but very good going into the waves, indeed almost untouchable even today.

Pete
Pete hatch allready cut into nose ( see pic )i had a repair to do here, throttle position i was going to glass box onto consol to suit once i have the controls,

craft was retubed by henshaws 5 years ago, hence why they look so good, mind was well grubby when i got it, see pics before and after

when you say tippy, you mean chine walk or at rest ?

moisture test been done on the hull floor and transom passed with flying colours no damp, been stored inside all its life after use owned by a s/hampton dive club,

Chris thanks for pic of your hull will assist me with steering position,

Pete you may have noticed he was talking about the Bristol Channel in which case he'd most likely be shouting Oooo Arrrrr.
