Bulkheads

The Bulkheads are now fitted. Console and Rear Bench / Splashwell are in the moulds.

Next step will be to temporarily lay down the deck then mock up the console and Ulmans so that plates can be bonded into the deck underneath to bots the Ulmans to.

what is the fabric drapped over the stringers and bulkheads? It doesnt look like CSM. Is it an illusion or is it bumpY?

I asked this when I went to see Time Bandit being built....

There are 3x 450 gram standed matts bonded to a fibreglass cloth that is draped over the 3" Marine ply bulkheads and onto the deck, the reason the cloth is taught is to give the strongest bond to the deck.

Question How much weight should a vessel; Why the double stringer are not made; Is there any particular reason;

Deck is down and front bow locker / tube support glassed in. This is a key feature of the Vipermax as it give an extremely secure fixing point for the tubes at the front.
