Opinions sought on the Rib-x brand...

C'mon now gents, don't be shy. Got a couple of these on the radar and wondering if they are worth a schlep to the south coast to look at.

I have asked the question as well and rib-x doesn't appear to be well known on this forum. I am looking at the 4.5 but I cant find any independent views on it.

The fact that nobody on here has one doesn't necessarily mean they're shit. And it's not even like Br!g, where if you ask for opinions where you get a barrage of negative comments. Which is why I'm looking for people with actual negative experience of them.

Found a couple of threads on here. All pretty old and inconclusive.

Rib X.....a quality boat?
Low Down On Rib-x 575

And Rogue Wave expresses an opinion here:
Avon Adventure 620 - What's it like?
albeit from 2004

Here's a very rough rule of thumb. If they're built somewhere warm, they're shite. :-)
