Obviously not the Prosport in question as it appears to be moving quite quickly.

Me thinks its time for you to get out, for some fresh air.

Oh I did get wet on one trip - 3 times when one of my passengers asked me to slow down a bit - just 3 waves over us and that was it. as soon as I speeded up a bit it was fine.

Remember windforce does NOT always = rough seas - a lot more depends on tide - water depth - wind direction etc. I have been out in a Force 6 that was much worse than a Force 9 - then again with 25yrs of experience you know all that........

Urmmm Force 9?
Just out of interest why on earth would some one with years of experience like yourself go on a pleasure trip in a force 9?
Do you have a different scale to us in Guernsey? because EVERY force 7,8,9, I have seen here would probably drown you let alone "get wet". Mind you i have only had very little experience compared to you.......

ps I do know both sides of the story....

How can you know both sides of the story when I haven't spoken to you about it?

You have made your dealings with Jason quite public.....you dont need to tell me in person what went on, the whole of Ribnet knows your side....

Do they really? I have NEVER made the full fisaco public as I was hoping to take legal proceedings against him.

Obviously you have heard Jason's side and made up your mind - either you are as gullible as I was when I dealt with him or else you have the same moral standards as he does..........

I am going to stick up the whole story when I get time as I mentioned earlier. And don't think I am the only person to have suffered because of him.

I will NOT be drawn further on this - you have made your position quite clear.........

Nope, the whole 'Cod Bashing' thing is bloody boring and unfunny. This site has lost members because of it. Bandwagons and jumping spring to mind.

You have made public your distaste for Jason and your dealings with him.
Every time Prosport ribs is mentioned you seem to draw your experience with him into the discussion. You dont know me at all, so you have no right to call me "Gullible" or suggest I have low moral standards!
I have never met Jason or spoken to him but it gets so so tireing hearing about you how much you dislike him.
As for having enough time to put up the whole story, I would suggest that 9008 post would take longer..
Please refrain from attacking someone who doesn't even use this forum.

You seem to have brought this up before I did..

How have you heard even a single side of the story if you don't know Jason? Unless of course you have 2nd or 3rd hand information. Who was the previous owner you mentioned if it wasn't Jason?

As to attacks I seem to remember most of them have come from your direction.

As to attacking some person who doesn't post on here he used to - until he decided the best thing to do was vanish!!!

The Prosports I tried was a used one owned by a port control officer and the other one was a year old which was at a brokerage and was bought recently by a ribnet member.
As for information about you and Jason, I dony know hardly anything apart from what you have written on here. My only dealing With Jason was an email
asking for some info on Ribs about 2 years ago.
I just think your problems should have been sorted privatly and not washed in public.

For f**k sake shut up!

Anyone who wants to know what's going on simply do a search for Prosport and wade through the pages of diatribe that comes up in the results!

Anyone who doesn't want to know, don't bother!

Leave this thread alone for the purposes of hopefully getting some straight answers to the original question, what's the opinion on that boat!!!

I was simply defending myself - I DID post my opinion and being an owner I think I am reasonably qualified.......

As to Prosport RIBs themselves they are great boats - mine will be my ideal RIB when I have done a few little jobs that should have been done before I had it.

They are great VFM and the hulls are amazing. The hull is a Revenger clone but with more beam and a fuller bow section - possibly one of the best all round designs. A very dry ride and very soft landings in rough conditions.
