Opinions on this Avon 4.6 Supersport

http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/BHG221

I haven't been on here for a while, but im after something small and easy to use in time for the summer as i ve sold the Ring now. I don't really want anything bigger than a 60HP to be honest, theres no need and fuels to expensive.
How does the above compare to a 4m Searider, it seems a good price and I really liked my Tohatsu 70 so I assume the 50HP is just as good.

Many thanks,

Anybody?!
Looks abit shallow vee to me although the newish Tohatsu makes it tempting, would an SR4 be a better in terms of seakeeping and general build quality? I had a 4m Avon Supersport a few years ago and that fell to bits, although it was massively overpowered.

B&O was down for ages-that might explain the lack of replies.

I doubt you could break an sr4 if you tried...

I had one a few years ago and it was a slammer due to shallow V otherwise OK . It is still going despite being abused by present owner !

Diver magazine did a test of one about 10 yeas ago fitted with a 4 stroke 50 hp Honda from memory, might be worth a search.

There have been a lot of them around here over the years. I agree with Lurcher - a very 'slammy' hull, due to the medium V. Ok for calm seas and perform ok with small motors, but no comparison to a searider.
