Hi Mark

As far as I know there is no 7.2/7.5mtr boat. Where have you heard otherwise?

Rich (ex Olmec owner)

Didn't Olmec buy a number of Shakespeare hulls (6.2 and 7.2) and fit them out to his own brand?

If so the Shakespeare hulls a goodun. Can't speak about the rest however.

Er no. Some people bought Shakeys and had Olmec fit the tubes (don't lets go there Peter)

My bet is that it has very little to do with Olmec unless Ed fitted the tubes. Olmec dabbled only briefly in boat building a long time ago and produced only a few of the same 6.1 boats that I had (very good boat). Other than that there was the furore about a V-Type splash from which at least one boat was moulded following an argument over money (all friends now though). Could be a V-type I guess.

Richard You seem to have a really big chip on your shoulder and please note your comments are are unecessary and agresive about time you grew up.Anyone can do a search on Olmec to see how he does his business and i will not be drawn into any argument. He dabbled for several years more than you imply and still does as his page info still advertises he is a tube builder and it wasnt that long ago
