Old Rib?? Check this out: Hypalon Reconditioning Video

Hey guys,

This video just posted on Hypalon.org and thought it might give some of us a nice winter project.

Old boat?
Tired tubes?
Ugly Hypalon?

This video shows you how to get them back to their golden years without much money and time...

Enjoy

Reconditioning Hypalon Tubes – A Synopsis | Hypalon.Org

Cheers!

Agree with Kerny on that one. At bottle of Rib revive and Rib conditioner would have done a much better job rather than masking the dirt under paint. Sure it is cheaper than buying the sprayer and paint to.

Some really dirty RIBS must be cruising the waters in the UK...seems like you folks love degreasing, scrubbing and having RIBS as yellow as your teeth hovering around the local waters...

Well atleast you won't have to bother with the wheel lock anymore. I'm getting my teeth bleached next week whilst watching little Britain ; 0)

Sorry, that doesn't look like an improvement to me. even taking into account the low quality vid, it looks matt, blotchy and uneven.

Both the tubes and your website are unfinished, the home page (Hypalon.Org | The Web's Hub for Hypalon Information) still has the place holders in it.

Did you really do that to a boat? On purpose or as a dare? that's real paint? Over the handles and everything? Seriously? I'm an American and you haven't done anything to improve the rest of the country's opinion of the quality of work in Florida.

Or we could say that your method varies greatly from the traditionally accepted methods of painting hypalon.

Oh, in more ways than one. The OPs use of popcorn at the end of the post suggests that you're all at the sharp end of a fishing expedition. I shall watch his or her future on here with interest...

How else are you going to get a good rise out of some Rib enthusiasts on the internets?

Spray paint crap tubes before retubing of course!
