Number Avon Searider M.O.D.

Hi,

I'm looking for a Avon Searider 5.4 project.
A M.O.D version got my attention.

Living in Belgium I have all sorts of paperwork to do in order to get a boat registered and I need a HIN.

But that MOD version has no HIN as I know them on seariders.
There is a plate with 9635 on it.

Does this mean something like 35th boat from 1996?

Batch 35 and registered with Mod in 96

i always thought that the mod plates referred to year and number of boat ordered by the mod that year ie 35th boat ordered in 1996 ,9636 could be another make of boat as could 9634

That would limit them to 99 boats a year!

My old ex MOD 5.4 had the hull ID on the inside starboard bow. Normally starts with AVB....

So has mine, but it's partially hidden by an MOD fitted D-ring patch.
