Now you can add to and edit information on the Boatlaunch web site.

Thank you to everyone who previewed our new web site and sent in helpful suggestions. It is now up and running and proving to be very popular. Already users are adding new information and editing existing entries.

I hope that you managed to get afloat over the Easter break. We were up in the West Coast of Scotland and managed a couple of outings but is was exceptionally cold with snow on the hill tops. If you have a story you would like to tell about a Great Day out and some photos, why not publish them on the web site? Simply create a new "Great Day Out", put it on the map, write some text, upload some picture and press the "Submit" button.
If someone has already written about a place you have been to, feel free to add to the article.

And it doesn't look too good in Firefox - fine in IE but remember - now 10% of people are using Firefox and it's growing fast.

We are aware of issues with Firefox and are looking into them. Apologies for any inconvenience

Google Maps dont work with IE5.5

For those of you who are having trouble logging onto the new Boatlaunch site, if you are using IE 5.5 or earlier you will need to upgrade your browser in order to use it.
You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...s/default.mspx

Geoff
How do you edit the info?

Hayle has just started charging for launching, £10 a pop or season pass of £64 this inlcudes parking, also Jetskis can only launch if you are a member of the local Skiclub which is £85.00, the harbour master has details.

Find the slipway you want to edit, click on the slipway icon to get a speech bubble and click on "read more". In the description below the map click on Edit this page...
