Graham, for Northcraft read BWM. Very similar boats and hulls but Northcraft never seemed to produce the volume or popularity some of the other manufacturers managed. Can't remember any real problems with them.

Adding seats shouldn't be a problem but have a think about balancing the boat if it has a large V6 engine on the back end. Might be a case of try it with lots of people first then fit seats.

I have had a Northcraft 5.5m wide body for the last 18 months and have had no problems with it. Performs well in all sea conditions. As far as adding bits, over the winter I made and fitted a rear bench seat to give some additional seating and secure storage.

I have not got any clear pictures of it fitted in the boat, but will take some over the weekend.
I have attached a picture of the mould just before removing the MDF plug plus a couple of the boat. The 3 kids at the back are all on the bench. The lower centre section is to allow the engine to tilt fully up between the two back rests
