Nice 2004 Yamaha 50 2 stroke on ebay

Item number: 320350092046

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-50hp-Ou...1%7C240%3A1318

I know I would buy it if I had a boat to put it on!

Value..

2004 New about 3200 - 3300
2009 1500 - 1800

On ebay with lack of others available..

Will probably go for about 1900 - 2300 depends how many bidders want it!!

I know this engine, its from a yacht cub safety boat. Not in bad condition. Paintwork is fairly bad tho always left up against a jetty scratching. I has been looked after fairly well.

I noticed the hood is pretty scratched up, i take it you can still get hold of these from a dealer, probably at a premium though?

Are there companies that renovate cowls?

It's quite an enjoyable process as it comes together you can use the same stuff that your going to fill your bolt holes with.don't use the orange pigment though

Hood is not an issue..

The scruffier they look the less they are likely to be nicked!!

RIBase
Very nice and very rare. I've been looking for a decent 50hp for ages. Most are hammered having spent their life pushing prawn boats out of Whitby.

Think a new hood is around the 400 mark from a main dealer.
