Newbie saying hi (not sure if this is the right place to do so!)

Hi all, just signed up as have this weekend been out in my mates (unfortunately not mine!) rib which he bought the other week, not had much experience with boats but, apart from a couple of inital launching issues, we have had an amazing couple of days out in the Mersey estuary getting to know his boat and learning how to launch and recover from New Brighton beach (not at high tide is best it turns out! lol).

Am hoping for a good summer and plenty of fun aroudn the country with the boat and getting lots of hints and tips from here.
