Probably - unless they were 16.5 meters long

Quick update....Lifted the sponsons on tonight.....surprisingly easy

We'll be re-using the ali strips to fix for the most part but the front /bow section was pretty pitted where it had held saltwater behind the rubbing strake which overlaps it......We are replacing this section with stainless (visual difference between ss and ali can't be seem as its hidden behind the strake, with a view to replacing all the strips for stainless in the long term /next few years.....but seeing as it aint broke at the moment......

We also lifted the engine out again as we were about to do the oils and decided to drop the sump and give it a good clean out (working on the basis that the lift pump can't get all the oil out).....will drop it back in when we've done /with new oils in.....Its really simple to drop in and out - 8 bolts and the prop shaft basically (lifted using the teleporter on the farm).....tempted to whip it in and out annually tbh, will be easier to keep the bilges spic and span when its out.....have taken a quick shot of the bilges and engine mounts painted out.....have also decided we will be installing a small 500 gph bilge pump in the engine compartment itself as well as the two 2000gph pumps (one maual one and one on an auto switch) in the bilge section behind....

Thanks for the comments guys

Collected the console, pods, engine box etc etc from the shop today.... Went with the original black in the end .....all looks great.....hoping to start refitting middle of next week, but am on charter North Wales beginning of week then Gloucester end and into next week.....

The boat has had to come outside now as the A frame is too big to get in and out of the barn.... A frame back on as well as stantion post and Platfrom above the jet etc....

Grabbed a couple of shots with the sponsons completed.....including the new transom patches.....several hundred holes drilled, several hundred screws back in (thank goodness for right angled power driver /drill! and several hubdred blobs of sika behind each one!
