the finished article, the stainless box was a better bet than the perspex,the 6 on the back was a number that i found on the old seat cover, it was just a boat call number.

Matt - very nice indeed. Where did you buy that fuse/isolator box from? It's the same as the one Ribcraft fitted to our 4.8.

PeterR - I assume you're involved with the Felixstowe inshore patrol service. I've got a friend who bought a 4m Searider off them about three years ago. Had a Mariner 40 on the back. Ring any bells?

I joined them this season so never actually saw it.I,ve seen some pictures but dont know any of the history other than how they came about owning it.I have found the other crew nothing other than great and the whole thing totaly rewarding. Matt if you need any stainless bar for transome brackets i have some

cheers for that peter, mines all sorted but just picked up the A frame yesterday from Marine Fabrications,so been wired it up today with some aqua signal series 40 Nav Lights, very pleased with results, its a shortened version so just clears the top of the hood ,same than my last one also made from Ally, also has been powder coated ,
