I reckon you need to make the radio box so you can get the VHF out without taking the steering wheel off

No, got too much work to do on the boat. The aux needs a new impeller and the Radio needs refitting but I'm going to glass and flowcoat the box to seal it first as quite a bit of water has got in.

There's about another 10 small jobs need doing too but I've got to sort the garage first so I've got room to breathe in there.

Matt,
do you have to have the high temp to apply the non slip paint?

i got the room temp to 15 +, just cos it said so on the tin, and it was nicer to work as well, last time i ended up doing it outside with a cover over the boat,it has dried incredibly hard, time will tell, consol completely finished now, new seat cover on and all electrics plumbed in so just need to finish the underside of the hull,
i notice your in southport, any launch sites up there ??as a mate of mine lives up there as well.

Cheers for the info, looks like I'm going to have to find somewhere for about aweek to get all this glassing and painting done. Bugger!

There's no slipways in Southport but there's Ainsdale boat club, 100 a year and they launch you by tractor off Ainsdale beach but only runs in season. Besides that it's Liverpool boatclub which is about the same price but all year around and the slip goes into the mersey just by John Lenon Airport. There's also the albertdock marina but it aint cheap and your at the wim of the dock gates. I don't mind the trip up to Fleetwood as it's only 8 a go or 50 odd for the year, can be launched at vuritualy any state of tide and you've got all of morceambe bay to play in.
