Well had a manic weekend working on the trailer/mobile office.
Bit of a nightmare in between the shower but got loads done as you can see.

Ealry pix of the 70's wood walls....soon changed that

"Fastest Boat Builders in the West" award goes to Ribcraft (... this month anyway!)

Don't think so !!! friend of mine ordered a boat the end of october and was given a delivery date of the end of april, end of april rolled past and he was told 20th may, that date rolled past and he was told the first week of june, i was talking to him during the week and he still hasn't the boat, the latest date that was given to him was the first week of JULY. he's not a happy camper. we've organised a weeks diving from the 9th july so were hoping it comes soon as a gang of us booked holidays that week. it will be hard to go diving without a boat !!

Oh dear ... at least it's not as bad as the (VERY) delayed completion on my apartment in Cowes ... was supposed to be completed before Christmas - then Feb - then April - then May ... have now got everything crossed for this week, but not holding my breath...

As they say all good things come to those who wait

My understanding, with most boat builders, is there is normally a good reason for a hold up.
What have they told him?
What was/ is the hold up?

I would not want to be the builders doing Nauti's apartment!!

All the best.

Heh. I have been MORE than forgiving with that shower ... even tried bribery with crates of beer at one point ... maybe that's where I went wrong....

No Boggles, it will be for kebab's and burgers clearly!!
Or I may go all healthy and do smoothies.

Yellow is so the office matches the colours of the boat.
Also it will stand out like a bull dogs wotsits!
All to aid the customer in finding us in the harbour.

Cheers

What have they told him?

they haven't really told him anything, that the problem !! he's getting the boat through a dealer in ireland who won't give him a straight answer and any time he's rang the factory to find anything out they'll tell him that they will ring back or e-mail him but never do. i was on a boat with him last week when he rang the factory to find out what the story is and he was told they were going to look at the work orders and give him a ring back, the call never came !! the dive club i'm in here is buying a new boat and i's a toss up between an excalibur and ribcraft. were waiting to see my friends boat but it just ain't coming. so it's looking like excalibur are the leaders at the moment
