New RIB needs insurance

Hi All,

This is my first post. I've just bought a used 2006 Avon Adventure 400 with Suzuki 25hp 4 stroke. It's my first toe in the water with a RIB having had sailing boats for years. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company for RIBs please? I paid £4.5k for the package and want to insure for around that value.

Porthcawl have always served me well on Price and service on a recent claim. I have my 2006 Adventure 400 in Chrstchurch too( among other things) - is yours the one that was outside 'the boathouse' ?

I, like PeterM, cant speak too highly of Porthcawl who are currently handling a claim for me.

Porthcawl for me too. I Insure for total cost rather than market value.

Well I'll be different Euromarine for me I have had a good service from them for many years. But it is all down to personal needs and wants so do a trawl on the net and see who meets your needs and couple that up with the feedback from the guys on here and make your choice.

I did look at that one but decided the engine was a bit more than I needed (it has a 50hp two stroke). Thanks for the advice.

Porthcawl for me too ..... we should sort out a discount with them for Ribnet members ?

Bishop Skinner for me, sorted out my claim for busting the collar no bother.
